When Hurricane Ike approached the Texas coast in September 2008, Billings Flying Service responded. Billings Flying Service sent a S-61 and crew to Texas before the storm hit in order to rapidly respond to any evacuation requests following the storm. Below are pictures of the destruction Ike caused taken by BFS crew members as they worked to evacuate victims of the storm.
